First, a few words about the original. This is my favorite picture. When I first saw it, I liked it so much that I printed it out on a photo printer and put it on my desktop. And a decade later, she's still with me. In it, I see tenderness, love and all-encompassing peace, it seems to cover and envelop me when I look at this picture. In moments of despair, sorrow or joy and happiness, looking at her at any moment, I feel love and peace. This picture became an unexpected support for me at the most difficult moment of my life. She gave me hope for the best. Today I am recreating a fragment of this painting, but in different colors, in a different technique. The technique of the old masters of the Renaissance. I wanted to combine in this picture everything that I like, everything, everything that “begs to come out”. I don’t know how it will turn out in the end, I see it as a creature that I want to hug and smile with my heart, while experiencing a comprehensive sense of gratitude for the fact that this is in my life.
