Although I am primarily a landscape painter, I also create a series of "Grover drawings" depicting Grover (the muppet) working through my anxieties about our modern era. "Grover, ready for school, with mask and kevlar vest" was made in 2020 in response to the insidious dangers for American school children. It seems even more appropriate in the current moment for all the children in Ukraine. I am an oil painter living in Brooklyn, NY. I received my MFA in painting from the New York Academy of Art.
