Faces of Tradition #9 - ASFA

⊹ 1/1 Edition from a real Hand-Painted Carpet with SprayPaint and Brushes

Those paintings on Carpet reflect an amazing way to pay homage to diversity in human cultures. Each waving of these carpets serves as the background for stunning female faces that are culturally bound to the pattern of the weaving itself. Carpets are one of the most ancient, visually rich, and meaningful traditional arts that can be found. Like human portraits, they are composed symmetrically and blend seamlessly into each other. It results in a great mix of urban arts with traditional craft that touches our universal consciousness and questions our cultural identity which is currently cannibalized by standardization and mass culture.
