Description

Celestial bodies come in different shapes and colors hence made of different elements and always named after the object they resemble.

This photo was shot using a remote access telescope located in Spain using three different filters to create an RGB image also called Hubble Palette which was designed to use for Hubble Space Telescope images. The colors in the photo represent emissions from various elements.

This special starless edit has an additional artistic approach by withdrawing the stars to increase the visualization of the details from the nebula.

The Rosette Nebula (also known as NGC 2244 or Caldwell 49) is a large spherical H II region (circular in appearance) located near one end of a giant molecular cloud in the Monoceros region of our Milky Way Galaxy.

Properties Object Type: Emission Nebula Distance: 5200 light-years Telescope: Takahashi FSQ-106EDX4 Dimensions: 1949 x 1949 pixels File Type: Jpeg - TIFF file for the collector Image Credits: Mustafa Aydın / Telescope Live
