In this artwork I couldn't avoid thinking about all those Women who survive to wars and to all forms of violence, but unfortunately will always carry in their souls and bodies deep wounds of emotional, physical, psychological and sexual abuse.
Those who suffer these traumas live with flashbacks and disturbing memories, the heart accelerates even after a long time and when these lacerations are deep they turn into scars that struggle to disappear.
Yes, time goes by but every time you dig deep into your wounds your head starts and your heart beats fast, scars start again bleeding in your soul and you realize that the pain was only settled in the bottom, resurfacing overbearingly.
My thoughts fly to all those Women who build fortresses inside themselves to fight fear and start again, at every step.
