​​"Nice to meet you, I’m Mr. MiSUNDERSTOOD" is the genesis piece from FEWOCiOUS' forthcoming FewoWorld metaverse fashion & generative customizable character drop, sold as part of the Sotheby’s Contemporary Art Day Sale.

This NFT is a paired piece to the 1/1 lifesize physical sculpture of the same title, and is the origin story of "Mister MiSUNDERSTOOD". The holder will later be airdropped an additional NFT, the first and rarest of many Fewo characters that will be revealed in a series of customizable collectibles dropping later this year.

"Nice to meet you, I’m Mr. MiSUNDERSTOOD" is a story about freedom, isolation, and exploration. FEWOCiOUS’ first ever life size sculpture captures an intense fear of change, along with a desperation for it. The sculpture wears an enchanted garment, a vibrant suit. The first item of clothing FEWOCiOUS made, and painted, by hand for his first FEWOCiOUS fashion line.

“I think a lot in here, it's not so bad. My friend, the cloud, says “Oh, but there's more!” and more and more. I feel warmth from the sunlight, I’ve read sunlight feels like a hug. I don’t know why I’m trapped. I feel stuck. I can’t remember a time I’ve felt free. We all take things for granted, I know I do. How will anyone remember me? I haven’t made any connections, I know I’m long forgotten. I’ve stuck myself here. I don’t remember when it happened, and I can’t escape. My mind is always racing. It feels like I’ve discovered a new world in my thoughts. A bird flew by through the window’s window, it looked so happy. I wonder what it's like to fly. I remember. I ran far. I flew far.
