Suspended Dive Toward Infinity

2025 April #004. The threshold between elements fascinates me—this moment of perfect suspension where the figure neither rises nor falls. Blue surrounds everything like possibility itself, a medium that holds rather than drowns. I wanted to capture that precise instant where decision has already happened but consequence hasn't yet arrived. The golden orb hovers, watching without judgment, a celestial anchor in a realm where certainty dissolves.

What draws us to leap into such spaces? Perhaps we recognize that transformation requires this moment of being neither here nor there. The curved form below—ambiguous by design—represents whatever waits beyond transition. Not necessarily safety, not necessarily danger, but inevitable reception.

The textured, earthy borders contain this ethereal moment like reality frames our dreams. I find myself returning to these liminal spaces in my work because they hold truth that defined states cannot. We exist most authentically when suspended between categories, when potential remains unresolved. The dive continues eternally, never quite reaching its destination because the state of becoming itself holds the meaning we seek.
