Self Reflections

Some images unfold in front of you in ways that already have so much meaning embedded. To that meaning we add our own, the stories within us that are drawn from the depths, up to the surface, called forth and rising on the currents of emotion.

Time is woven into every moment, and that tapestry expands with every day that passes. 500 years separate dual gazes, the past tied to our future, and one of the oldest and most iconic portrayals is reflected in eyes of the new. Self Reflections distills all of that time, those centuries, the rise and fall and rise again, the countless human stories, the potential within us all to cast our gaze upon the world and proudly proclaim- I belong here.
