Manuel Lariño

Spanish-American visual artist born in A Coruña, Spain, to an American mother and a Spanish father. Grew up between the U.S. and Spain. BFA with honors from Ringling College of Art and Design (Sarasota, FL); also studied at the Joe Kubert School (Dover, NJ). Began his career as an illustrator working with Esquire Magazine, Paste Magazine, Faber & Faber, and others, and has exhibited in galleries across New York, Los Angeles, London, Florida and Spain. Has since shifted toward personal work in generative art, creating collections through algorithms and code, with recent shows at Art Blocks Gallery (Marfa, TX) and The Generative Art Museum (Barcelona).
