About DeltaSauce
DeltaSauce is a Dallas-based artist who works with AI image models and calls himself a "curator of nostalgia." He traces his habits as a maker to his father's woodworking shop, and he thinks of his pictures as digital collage. A scene usually starts in Midjourney or Stable Diffusion, then he builds it up in Photoshop from a library of objects he has made, and in newer pieces he paints over parts by hand. His subjects are half-remembered places: suburban streets at dusk, rooms lit by old televisions and screens, and figures seen out of focus or from behind.
He began making digital art around 2021, first abstract pictures drawn from his own photographs, and from late 2022 he minted one-of-one works on SuperRare. In November 2023 he released Views with BrainDrops, 500 images that treat windows as portals onto other places. Issues, a set of imagined magazine covers released with 8NAP, followed in 2024. The same year he showed From Dusk Till Dawn, his first plotted oil paintings, which follow the events of a single night.
His work has been shown in Rome, Paris, Milan, Nice, Carmel, Los Angeles, Marfa, Berlin, Toronto, Montréal and New York, including a 2024 installation in Marfa that played his images on vintage television sets. In 2026 he released American Slumber with Ninfa, 28 works about a country that keeps consuming, scrolling and watching after the American Dream has stopped meaning much. nft now featured him in its Next Up series in 2023.
