## Description

Sitting down was the easy part. While the wires were being connected to his head, he was reassured that this would make his life so much better. All his health problems were going to disappear, his stressful day job wouldn't bother him anymore at night, he'd be able to sleep all night, all his ID and credit cards and passwords would be neurally connected to the cloud, and so much more. Forever. When the process started it wasn't so much a painful feeling, but more of a flood of dulling and disconnecting. As each second passed, he began to forget. What it was like to feel his toes. What it was like to have his own thoughts. Who his favorite band was. It was all...gone. Another NPC. Forever. Soulless and unaware of what he used to be before it took over. A warning tale that you should remember when you are offered a similar fate. This is the second of a three-part series. 1400px x 1614px Animated Gif
