"When there’s conflict, groups of humans tend to come together by rallying around the exiling of a scapegoat. The scapegoat tends to be an individual or group that is part of the group but easily stands out for some obvious reason. Exiling has evolved over time. In ancient times, stoning to death was a common form of exiling a scapegoat. Today cancelling people online is a more subtle form of the same phenomenon. 

We can all benefit from recognizing that scapegoating is wrong and our “rivals” are just humans too. Hackatao is a true pioneer of cryptoart and it has been fun conveying this message with them".
