## Description

This piece delves into the evolving language of emojis and their profound role in modern communication. It explores how these seemingly simple icons have transcended their explicit meanings to form a complex, nuanced, and often coded vocabulary across different generations.

The artwork draws inspiration from the unique ways boomers, millennials, and Gen Z use emojis to express themselves. It captures the subtle yet significant differences in their digital dialects—from the straightforward use of the emoji of a monkey covering its face to depict shyness, to the layered use of a peach emoji to refer to the sexual.

Created in 2024.
