## Description

This is an illustration created for Osamu Dazai's novel "No Longer Human". Some of the experiences during the life of the protagonist in the story distorted his heart, and he himself gave up changing himself. "Being born, I am sorry" is a very classic sentence summarizing this novel. Inspired by this sentence, in the illustration, I closed the small protagonist with a huge hand holding two halves of the Japanese ghost mask, thus reflecting that he was distorted by external forces. The huge hand symbolizes the influence of things and people around him, and the mask of the ghost symbolizes his psychological state of giving up.
