## Description

This illustration was inspired by Arthur Conan Doyle's short story "The Adventure of the Musgrave Ritual", which was later included in The Memoirs of Sherlock Holmes, a collection of twelve short stories. This one stood out to me because it's one of the only stories that Sherlock Holmes narrates himself, as well as being one of his earliest recorded cases. This illustration was inspired by the following passage: "...so with a rather rueful face he went off to his bedroom, from which he returned presently pulling a large tin box"
