another from my art/history series, she put the divine (& utterly badarse) in diva - but, hang about...she's hardly a diva. why, the other day, miss m (born #otd in 1945) tweeted that the best cleaning products don't come in plastic. i fully believe she snaps on her marigolds & gets to work on the surfaces with white vinegar & baking soda. truly, though - bette midler is fierce. from her lungs to her heart. she cares. not only does she get involved with environmental projects, but she also advocates for native american rights. what a total rose.
