## Description

This picture of the New River Gorge bridge was taken in February 2019 on the way home from a family funeral. Connecting the artists' past in the old world of the West Virginia Highlands with the ultra modern City they left to return home, it serves as a tangible focus for the bonds of family and ancestry and a demonstrable prioritization of blood over money.
