## Description

Just like my native town (where I’ve not been living for 10 years), Tokyo is a source of nostalgia for me. When I visit both places, sometimes my feelings hit me so hard it feels like taking a punch right in the pit of the stomach. In his book “How Brains Make Up Their Mind”, Walter J. Freeman states: “Meanings have no edges or compartments [...] They are not solely rational or emotional, but a mixture. They are not thought or beliefs, but the fabric of both. Meaning is closed from the outside by virtue of its very uniqueness and complexity. The meaning in each of us is a quiet universe that can be probed but not occupied". For me, art is a form of meaning creation for me and others.

This is a single edition I've created using a real photo of mine that I took in Akihabara during a rainy night. My creative process starts with some street photography shots where I try to capture neon-noir and cyberpunk vibes of the big metropolis, then just some light tweaks, no photoshop, and in the end some glitches.
