## Description

A Glitch Self Portrait : Deep in thought, laying feebly against the wall, disillusioned by the weak fabric acting as a veil of reality surrounding everything, oneself included : Echoing thoughts, layering ever increasingly, looping into infinite patterns of self-doubt and uncertainty : The Universe experiences itself subjectively through all of existence : Yet, a question remains...

...Are we a reflection of the world around us? : Or the world, a reflection of us?

My editing process entails bouncing the original photo between multiple image manipulation phone apps, then once I've become satisfied with the basis, I move it to Photoshop, where I then layer the image multiple times and apply distortion and color manipulating filters via Filter Forge to different layers with varying sequences of blending modes, cascading the effects into a form of organized chaos until, finally, a shape emerges from the dust.
