Old Tram line in historic Karangahake Gorge about 2 hours south of Auckland, NZ, remnants of the areas gold mining history. Taken on a refreshing early winters morning walk This area has many beautiful walks of varying difficulty each with their own unique sights. If you have a bike, there is also a cycle trail following the old train lines and tunnels for a simply breathtaking adventure.
