## Description

The seeing eye through the years. What has it seen? Is it female or male? Does it matter? I took this photograph in Venice Italy in 2019 when in Venice to set up exhibit in an art gallery - sadly cancelled due to pandemic. This eye nestles in so well to an old church that has seen centuries of war , peace, love, violence, marriage, joy hardship, hope and and faith. This is part of a series of 7 photographs where I explore classical architecture and history from both the East and West, with transcendent contemporary commentary and icons such as the all seeing eye. By reflecting on history we know more of our present moment .
