## Description

The term "Mysto" was coined among surfers travelling through Indonesia during the 80s and 90s. It is short for Mystery Indo (Indonesia). The goal in the early days of surfing Indonesia was to discover new or semi secret mystery waves, which meant sharing the wave with little or no people. Indonesia is widely considered the best surf destination in the world, however is now  very crowded and Mysto waves are not nearly as common. Thankfully some do still exist and are treated with the upmost respect and secrecy.
