## Description

In Greek mythology, maenads were the female followers of Dionysus, the god of wine. Their name literally translates as "raving ones".
They worshiped Dionysus in rites where they got into a state of ecstatic frenzy through a combination of dancing and intoxication.

This artwork depicting a maenad resting after a bacchanal features six millions of particles driven by a fluid simulation in a perfect loop, something rarely achieved in 3D dynamics.
