## Description

"The Peace Holidays" consists of a foster care initiative to provide care for children from the Sahara every summer by Spanish families. Although it does not solve the precarious situation of these children, at least every summer they can enjoy beach and pool days, medical visits, dentists, clothing, good nutrition and the possibility of learning another language.

The purpose of these programs is to help some of the minors who live the rest of their year facing difficult conditions. Through this program a very strong affective bond between Spanish children and families is formed for the years that follow.

In the case of Sahrawi children, there is an added problem, such as the outbreak of military skirmishes between Morocco and the Polisario Front. A conflict that makes it difficult for humanitarian aid to arrive in the region, and that worsens the living conditions of Saharawi children.
