## Description

This is a traditional impressionistic oil painting 300mm by 450mm on board painted ala Prima. The garden is a space of peace and quiet surrounded by huge modern buildings. The depressing grey glass buildings loom over the garden and darken the tranquil waters. The garden itself is based on traditional Ming Chinese design so the buildings, and introduced plant species make it very odd to the location. The harmony and beauty of the garden is a wonderful cultural exchange and is an oasis on a hot summers day in Australia’s biggest city
