## Description

MakersPlace Art Challenge 5-5-5. Week 3. 'True-To-Size Disguise.'

In my drawings and paintings, I often juxtaposed related and unrelated elements, with sizes that were bigger than life-size against smaller shapes.  

Now in my ephemeral art, I simulate an environment/landscape from natural elements and then decorate the structure with flowers and plants. 

The idea behind this piece was to replicate a swampy black pond/mire with banks of natural Australian bushland: She Oaks and Grevillias. And then decorate it with an abundance of 'End of Winter turning into Spring' flowers: Fairy Azaelias, African Iris and Freesias.
