## Description

A Geisha crossing a walkway in Kyoto in 2019. Japan is a modern country and leading economy that respects its heritage and past like few others. I admire how tradition and modernity co-exist there, neither one competing for dominance. I shot this image candidly. It was totally unplanned, a sudden realisation that my impression of the Japanese way of life was present in this frame.
