## Description

One morning I woke up hearing a kind of poem, grabbed a pen and started writing it down. Tbh it was like taking dictation. I just listened, which has been my creative practice all along. And an hour or so later, Pink Cake was born. I spent a very long time working on the watercolour illustrations and collaging them together for all the pages in the book. It's a book about love and having cake for breakfast on your birthday, which I hope you do!
