## Description

The Model 827 Piloted Light Exploration Vehicle (PLEX) was designed primarily for exploration of newly discovered Class-M planets. Previous generations of light rovers and scouts were woefully under-equipped to deal with hazardous terrain, wildlife, and weather patterns. If the planet was deemed suitable for a seed colony, the handful of PLEX Vehicles already planet-side would officially be repurposed as emergency response vehicles, although most eventually ended up being used for off-road racing and orienteering.

This design took the better part of a month. I very much enjoyed playing with various color schemes, stickers, and the story behind this vehicle. There are probably 30 plus different sketches of this robot with different colors and decals, 5 of which are featured on this piece.
