## Description

“As the depth of the sea that remains still motionless as the surface is agitated, the expression of the Greek
figures, however shaken by passions, always shows a great and laid soul” * the three Graces appear in the
same way Femena series. The remains of everything, sinuous and delicate, smooth and fresh like the inside
of a pink shell, diaphanous like the wings of a butterfly, merge into a dance of mutual understanding and
listening. Purified by every individualizing or characterizing element, distinguished by a noble simplicity
and by the sublimation of the forms, they embody the state of harmony and deep quiet to which the human
being should tend. The ideal of a beauty serenatrice, harmonica but not necessarily aesthetically perfect. The
three figures, very similar in appearance and poses, intertwine as if they were one entity. Their looks are not
directed towards the spectator, to whom nothing remains but to observe the compositional balance and the
bright incarnate. The triple rhythm of generosity (offering, accepting and giving back) is here symbolized
by the meeting of hands and bodies. Each element is placed in a position related to that of others, and to the
voids around them, one linking to the next and this to the next. Femena expresses the outbreak of a continuous
renewal in search of the ideal balance.
