## Description

"During his last day on Earth, Nord said goodbye to his city visiting the most important places of his childhood. Just before leaving with the last space shuttle, he visited Sant Pau hospital, where he said goodbye to his father five years ago. And when leaving, Nord contemplated that abandoned ancient temple called La Sagrada Família that was built  long ago by a crazy old man named Antoni Gaudí."

I started the Smoke & Neons project in 2015. A personal story inspired by the aesthetics of Blade Runner and the science fiction stories of Arthur C. Clarke. This was fun to do. I took several photos from the Sant Pau hospital to the Sagrada Familia. And then I started the futuristic recreation of the scene. To this day the Sagrada Familia is not finished yet, so in the illustration I made the silhouette of the finished temple based on how it will be.
