This is not treachery,
nor a poem.
Not a starfish,
nor a false representation...

"Not a morphing pipe" is dedicated to and inspired by Magritte's "La Trahison des images" also known as "Ceci n'est pas une pipe" (This is not a pipe). 

The painting of a pipe is not a pipe, is a painting!

In this artwork I try to expand that concept and play with shapes and both ordinary and possibly mysterious objects, morphing them into others, starting and ending with a pipe.

The object and the order in which it transforms has no specific meaning. Its creation was based on the method of automatism.

I decided to keep the background completely black, to keep the focus on the object.
