## Description

Mermaids are one of the earliest creatures in mythology and they have various personalities, forms and origins. There are many various kinds of mermaids, often unique to a certain culture. I grew up with the beautified version of mermaids like "The Little Mermaid" by Hans Christian Anderson and the mermaids from Peter Pan story. I started with the middle Mermaid with my favorite colors: reds, purples and blues, like a galaxy. Next I did the blue/green Mermaid which looks more like water. The last was warm yellow, orange, red Mermaid. I chose those colors to complete the whole color circle. When doing the pen details I tried to have each Mermaid have different patterns.

Here is my original poem to complete this art:

Listen to the deep roars of the ocean,
See the blue sparkles in the dying light,
Taste the salty breeze in the air,
Touch the wet stones on the shore,
Sense them moving below the surface
