## Description

This eminently strong image has been created from a manipulated monochrome CC0 photograph. 

The intensity of the stare holds the attention whilst the beard and features have been made to mimic the textures in the painting 'The Great Wave' by the legendary Japanese master, Hokusai. 

The animation has been created to emphasize the intense flow of water in the Tsunami whilst the colours remain true to those of the original woodblock print.
