## Description

Even in the frozen wastes of the Polar regions there is beauty to be found. Here I have imagined ice crystals being drawn up by a swirling wind to produce a magical feather-like form.

Strong contrasts and shadows abound in this stormy context. I have always been attracted by them and they are a recurring element in many of my paintings.
