## Description

She opened her eyes, waking from a deep sleep. She had fallen asleep on the floor. There was a low table next to it with half-finished green tea. She looked carefully around the room, noticing a young man in red at the entrance to the terrace. He was sitting in the shade, his back against the wall.
It was hot and slightly stuffy. The sun's rays fell directly into a small pond in front of the house, making the water's glare penetrate the open room, dancing on the ceiling. Large carp swam in this pond, and their shadows drifted slowly across the ceiling. It was fascinating, but the young man was not looking at this illusion, but writing something in his blue paperback book. Very quietly, she came to sit beside him. But he kept writing something down. Stretching out a little, she looked at the book, but could not make out what it was written. He wrote in an ancient language that, unfortunately, she didn't know very well. Forgetting this, she sat beside him and watched the fish in the water. A few minutes had passed when the young man suddenly closed the book and, with a heavy sigh, lay down on the floor, resting his head in her lap. She flinched in surprise, turning her gaze to him. His eyes were closed, his brow was slightly furrowed, and his breathing was uneven. His chest and shoulders heaved up and down. She knew at once what it was. He couldn't stand the sun, and it was very hot today. Carefully, she reached out to touch his forehead.
- Do not. Don't touch me, - he might have said it harshly, but she could hear his faint concern clearly.
- Why?
- I told you why…
- Because you can hurt me?
- Yes, I can hurt you.
Suddenly a tear fell on his cheek, and he opened his eyes abruptly, looking at her. She pursed her thin, pale lips, trying to hold back the tears that were welling up, but they dripped treacherously on his face.
- But it's not fair… Why before I could touch you, but now I can't…
He sat up suddenly, using one hand to steady himself. And hung there, looking at her for a while. She took a few more deep breaths, trying to get rid of unnecessary tears, and all the while he watched her intently. Calming down, she took a deep breath and looked at him calmly.
- Forgive. I'm asking too much of you, - she got to her feet and went to the table with the cup. – I'll get some water. The heat must make it unbearable for you to be here.
- Jay, - at She sound of her name, she stopped, turning uncertainly to face him. – Do you really want to do this?
- At least let me try…
He exhaled heavily, looking away to the side. She could see the sadness in his eyes.
