## Description

This photo was taken in front of the I Am A Man mural in Memphis, TN. It depicts my fiance his twin brother and friend. I wanted the contrast from paint to photograph to illustrate how history still comes to life and how adversities may take on different forms, but they still exist today. The transformation shows the summoning of strength to overcome generalized perceptions.
