## Description

There is a still pool:
Surrounded by solid walls:
Stillness allows me to see beyond:
My isolation: My imprisonment: My despair:
No longer serves me. I can now see an open stairway:
Leading down to the river. I have lived on Earth to learn of Duality: 
The concrete World of Man: Separate from Creator. 
And now: I'm trying to find my way back:
To flow into Oneness: 
With all Life.

The original drawing of 'The River Beyond' measured approximately 200 mms x 150 mms and was produced with graphite and coloured pencil on Kent drawing paper. 

It was exhibited and sold, and unfortunately, the only photographic record I have is rather dull and lacks clarity. Slightly digitally enhanced now with LightRoom. 

The camellias in the foreground were drawn from studies of the camellias from life. Shown previously. ~Ally.
