## Description

'Fanny' is one of Yanka's latest black and white artworks and it looks rather simple, just a young girl walking a tightrope, followed by the snakes on a light side and by rigid, cold light beams on a dark one.
It is apparently an illustration to some story 'cause when I asked Yanks about the name of her work, she said 'Fanny' like I had to know it by myself. 'What, didn't you read the book?' - she added, but when I said 'no' she didn't tell me about it. So, there is a book. But it actually doesn't matter.
Because this artwork isn't about the book, it's about attaining harmony and keeping balance between night and day, dark and light, death and life. Though it isn't much easier that walk a tightrope (or, probably, it's much harder to learn), it can be done, ans she does it, young girl with bright red umbrella, she does it every day, no matter what it costs her, she does it.
