## Description

Slovenia is a country of fairy tales, with lofty peaks of the Julian alps rising high above the clouds giving way to amazing views of snow-capped mountains, picture-perfect churches, and mysterious cloud-covered valleys. 

For my first sole NFT project, I set out to capture the unique wonder of this small but beautiful country. I spent a few weeks exploring the picturesque churches, mountain lakes, and hidden waterfalls but it was this image taken one morning in Lake Bled that really optimized what makes Slovenia and the Julian Alps so special. 

I had been photographing a pretty impressive sunrise over the lake after which I decided to take a hike up into the mountains where I was greeted with a sweeping view over the valley to the West. Whilst the view was spectacular it was the detail of the early morning fog sweeping through the valley as the first rays of sun pierced through burning off the haze that really grabbed my attention. An abstract and dream-like scene that truly summed up the magic of the region.

About the Artist: Jordan is a travel and documentary photographer renowned for his unique storytelling abilities via the medium of the still image. A regular contributor to the likes of National Geographic and founder of the highly regarded and award-winning travel publication JRNY. Jordan’s work has taken him all over the world with documentaries being made on his work and exploits as a photographer.
