## Description

Street portrait of elderly Thai man Khun Aru, in the doorway of his house in Bangkok's Khlongtoey slums. I had taken many pictures of him over the years and whenever I walked past his house he would always come out for a picture; the day I took this picture he told me he had cancer and was very ill, and in fact it was the last time picture I took of him and he died just a few weeks later.
