## Description

Paul McCartney on LIFE Magazine cover -November 1969

Life Magazine, November 1969, published an article on the "Paul Is Dead" rumour, detailing various clues found on Beatles' album cover photos, but it also had a brief Paul McCartney interview. A Life magazine reporter went to Scotland trespassed on Paul’s farm hoping for a photo or interview. It was reported Paul was so angry at the encounter, he threw a bucket of water at him before calming down. Paul decided to accept an interview and a photograph.

John Lennon left the Beatles months before, that was decided to keep his decision secret, but Paul declared in this interview to Life Magazine: "We're all individuals. John married Yoko, I married Linda. The people who make up such rumours should look at their own lives. They should worry about themselves, instead of worrying whether I am dead or not. What I have to say is all in my music. Can you spread it around that I am just an ordinary person who wants to live in peace with my family here." [refer to wife Linda, kids, Heather & Mary]
