## Description

The art world is overwhelmingly male-dominated. According to a report, only 2% of global art auction spending on work by women. And only two works by women have ever broken into the top 100 auction sales for paintings, despite women being the subject matter for approximately half of the top 25. And unfortunately there is no difference in NFT land yet as new report finds that women artists accounted for just 16 percent of NFT sales over the past 21 months.
