## Description

The GAN-generated imagery in " Ideasthesia", the mixed media generative art collection, represents the chaotic, disordered emotions evoked by microtonal avant-garde music.

Microtonal tuning, with its subtle variations in pitch, creates a sense of unease and discomfort akin to the experience of misophonia. The artist has channelled this sensation into the art, using coding to bring tumultuous sounds to life in abstract shapes and colours.

As the viewer delves deeper into the collection, they will be drawn into a world of jagged lines and shifting forms, each reflecting jazz music's raw, unpredictable nature. The interplay between the GAN-generated imagery and the microtonal melodies creates a sense of synergy as the two mediums combine to create a unique, immersive experience.

At the heart of this collection lies a reflection on the early days of AI and its relationship to music. As the artist grapples with the complexities of microtonal tuning and the emotions it elicits, they are also exploring the role of technology in shaping our musical experiences.
