## Description

‘Queening’  is a metaphor for femininity, feminine power and valor.  
As the third of five girls raised in South-East Nigeria, my experiences have shaped my understanding of gender dynamics, femininity and feminine power. “Queening” is a representation of my mum, my sisters and other women who inspire me- women who remain unbent despite the carousel of gender nuances and discrepancies. “Queening” is a summation of my dreams, dreams of exaltation and achievement for my sisters , it is a chant to the many victories we have had and the ones yet to come.
