## Description

Black is the color of my eyes,
it's also what I see.

Black was my favourite pair of jeans, 
but lately so have been my dreams.

I'm unsure of what I’m becoming,
every bone in me feels unsettling.

I can't tell the difference anymore,
if my eyes are closed or open.

I know I'm not blind, because I see black,
or maybe I’m blind, 
or maybe it's all in my mind,
or maybe its something I've started to believe.

My heart is hollow, my mind is blank,
I don't know if I’ll get through this emptiness,
I'm scared.

The only light I have is the hope within,
praying that one day it shines bright,
and shows me where to begin.
