## Description

Ruff Draft's wall from "Murals to the Metaverse" is a large scale mural installation of his street photography. The image on the left was taken in downtown Oakland during the uprisings that occurred in the aftermath of George Floyd's murder in the Summer 2020. The image on the right is a portrait of Artist Adrian Walker. This portrait is a symbol of connection to unapologetic Black culture, showcasing the irony of gold teeth being a point of shame during the reconstruction era of the south in the United States, and overtime re-purposed through Black culture as a symbol of self-expression and pride.
