## Description

Melancholy

Among the dark rustling foliage, buried below the ground,
Searching for a glimpse of hope, beyond the visible,
Longing for a voice to be heard, a calming sound,
Falling deeper within that void,
Serenely engulfing the mind,
Like a snake, silent in its dance around above the soil,
Waiting to fall prey to its own greed.

Among all this darkness, anger flourishes,
Like a flower blossoming in anticipation,
Yet all that is sacred within one's mind,
Holding on to your own voice, like a newborn to its mother,
That light will exist,
Even if for a brief moment in time,
Giving a reason to exist.
