## Description

for my entire life, art has always given me purpose but I've never sought who I am outside of being an artist

It's somehow taken depression to get me to start asking the right questions

It beats you down, it paralyzes you, it suffocates you, and it buries you until you feel like there is no hope left

When you're in that pit, you make a decision to either succumb to the wrath of darkness or fight to see the light again

then you wake up the next morning and the battle repeats

but over time, not instantly, do you begin to finally understand the conflict and that both of the fighters are you

separating out my individual emotions,
understanding what triggered them
and then cured them brought harmony to the love I needed to feel for myself
