This is a saying that means that everything can be seen and judged from several points of view, so we should not only look at what is shown to us.

Coins have two sides and we cannot see both sides at the same time. If we look only at one side we do not know what is on the other side, so we have to look at both sides before expressing an opinion on an issue.
